More Than a Yarn Shop
A week ago, we had our very first Creatively Altered Retreat (wooooo!). After months of planning, fretting over details, and worrying whether or not everything would come together in time, I was a hot mess. But the moment I saw the smiling faces of our ladies knitting, crocheting, and chatting away in the hotel lobby, I felt all of that stress melt away.
Now let me tell you about these women. We have got to have the most welcoming, down-to-earth, compassionate, fun-loving community of knitters and crocheters on the planet. Not only do they have my back by supporting the business, they also go out of their way to make sure everyone who comes through our shop doors feels right at home. So it should come as no surprise that everyone had a great time at the retreat.
We stayed up late every night, indulged in snacks and sweets, enjoyed a few drinks, and laughed and laughed. Drama? Not in this group. Bad attitudes? Nowhere to be seen. Occasional swear words and mildly inappropriate jokes? You betcha! And we wouldn't have it any other way.
And I guess that's what really sets us apart from the rest. Here, you have the freedom to be boldly, unapologetically you in a community that not only encourages but also empowers. We are so much more than a yarn shop.
